Matter of Margarita Del Pilar FITZPATRICK
If you are a Legal Permanent Resident, have some type of legal status in the United States or if you have no legal immigration status – do not register to vote in any State or Federal Election and most important NEVER vote. If you vote you will be in violation of Section 237(a)(6)(A) of Federal Law: “Any alien who has voted in violation of any Federal, State, or local constitutional provision, statute, ordinance, or regulation is deportable.” Asides from committing a crime for voting, you will not be able to become a US Citizen and you will face deportation regardless of your legal status.
